Notes: gave each Area a conference report packet reviewed

Motion #10 ( on pg.3 of the first draft Record of WSC 2004 decisions) as it was the only motion we wanted that did not get passed.

 

  • Reviewed Conference Report , met with people from all over America and 42 regions outside the United States. ( conference is getting better and better each passing year this was the longest .)
  • Bill S. pointed out that we must elect an RD and an alternate RD in August

      ( RD must have required 5 years of clean time, Alt. RD must have 4yrs. clean)

there are other requirements in bylaws , also asked for donations to the WSO of N.A merchandise (stuff) with the exception of cups. This is for groups outside the U.S.A. (keytags/ coins)

1.Steve H. -Doing this doesn’t seem to be productive.

2.Les F.- Shared his experience with this.

3.Dan D.- Pointed out that this has already been voted upon.

4.Bill S.- States that for twenty years, the August meeting has been a campout on the first weekend.

5. Chris B.- Why? for stay over or for business?

Andy G.- motion made for Regional Meeting, to be held in the Wyo-braska  in August . RCM needs to find a place. Steve H seconds motion. Les F. motion is out of order Chris B. will find a place.

  • Tabled Treasurers Election will try to find a new treasurer within our areas. New treasurer will be elected at the next Regional Meeting.
  • Regional Rent- Motion Made- Bill S. we pay rent up to 40.00 for the URMRC Business Meeting, Chris B. seconded one abstain.
  • 7th Tradition Donation of 13.00 received by Shelly N. for Central Area.
  • Travel Expenses follows bylaws.
  • Chris B. makes a motion that if any of the 6 executive committee members positions become vacant, the duties will be assumed by the chairperson. Steve H. seconds unanimous.
